Testimonials

“Mike Carter was a great partner in the Lord Stanley’s Gift Monument project. IN a congested and logistically challenging area at the corner of Elgin St. and Sparks St., Ashton Landscaping completed the removals and backfill without any problems. It also has to be mentioned that the workers performing the works were cognizant of the pedestrian traffic and always performed the work in a safe manor. “

- Ellis Don

“Mike and his crew are always a pleasure to work with because of their positive attitude towards the work required for project completion. His timely response to schedules and solving on site issues and has always satisfied the client with minimal “down time” to finding a workable solution. Mike has always impressed with how informed his crew chief and men are regarding the work at hand and the final results show the understanding and training his group posses. “

- Kallala Design

“Mike Carter and Merit Contracting came highly recommended to me, via a fellow colleague in the real estate industry. As a homeowner, I understand how difficult it is to find contractors who are reliable, transparent and honorable. With that being said, I can truthfully say Merit Contracting constantly exceeds my expectations regarding their work as well as their prompt ability to communicate with the client, even after the project is complete. “

- Casey Scobie

“Mike has been a valued part of the Pomerlau Construction Team for many years. He has demonstrated the ability to provide us with competitive pricing, quality and workmanship and has always met Critical Path Schedule. All of these projects have required Mike to meet tight time schedules while working cooperatively with other trades on site. Mike and his team have always been pleasant to deal with and provide an excellent final product. “

“The work was completed promptly to the highest standard and a meticulous job was performed to complement the spectacular grounds of “Lornado”. At the same time this work was in progress, using the critical path method, was completing a major repair of interlock stone. This combined repair and construction project was completed ahead of schedule and the quality of craftsmanship exceeded expectations of all stakeholders. “
